Blackbird Studio Sudbury is a collection of three women with a passion for art and the healing that can come from tattoos. We recognize the power that symbols and images can have on our growth and wellbeing.

Blackout Tattoo Removal opened as a laser tattoo removal service in 2019. Since then it has evolved into Blackbird Studio incorporating tattoo application to compliment the variety of fading and cover up tattoo services.
Our artists offer private offices during your session. Above all we value quality of service, experience, health and wellness.
Acknowledging that not all laser tattoo removal treatments are about regret sets us apart from the competition. Tattoos can serve us. They can empower us, they can help us remember and they can heal wounds just by existing. Like many things once useful in our lives, the time may come that we need to release them.

SALVE
Rosemary + Yarrow Healing Salve has a moisturizing base high in vitamin E. Salves are most helpful at the beginning of the healing process once the wound has completely closed. Keeping a new tattoo lightly moisturized prevents scabbing and potential loss of colour. Our specific Rosemary and Yarrow blend inhibits bacterial growth, reduces inflammation and aids in wound healing.
Each ingredient is chosen for its benefits to our skin, specific to wound healing, anti-microbial properties, vitamin content, and skin conditioning ability. All formulations are submitted through the Health Canada Cosmetic Notification process, as required by the Cosmetic Act, PRIOR TO ANY SALE OF PRODUCT.
SOAP
Rosemary + Peppermint all-natural soap is formulated to be extra soft and smooth during use to ensure no drying or tugging on the skin. Ingredients are chosen to create a nourishing and moisturizing bar of soap. The superfatting process used for this soap specifically allows some of the oils to remain unsaponified and stay on the skin after washing. This is a soft soap specifically meant to be used during the healing process. This Rosemary and Peppermint combination is a highly conditioning gentle cleanser that reduces inflammation and bacteria growth.

ANESTHETIC
Zensa Numbing Cream 30g
- Maximum strength 5% lidocaine.
- Lasts 2-3 hours and is safe to reapply on broken skin to extend numbing sensation.
- Natural pH formulation is safe to use on the most sensitive areas like the bikini area and lips.
- Does not contain vasoconstrictors that will affect the settling of ink.
- Vitamin E acts as an anti-inflammatory to boost the healing process.
- Vegan & steroid-free.
